On some vehicles, the fuel delivery module could fail, causing the engine to either run rough or not start at all. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving.
“A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash,” said Transport Canada. “Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fuel delivery module.”

Rolls-Royce has recalled the 2017 Ghost due to issues with the seats and restraints.
“A problem with the driver's seatbelt could cause it not to lock up as designed during braking or in a crash,” Transport Canada said. “A seatbelt that does not lock properly in a crash could cause an increased risk of injury.”
Rolls-Royce will notify owners by mail instructing them to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the driver's seatbelt assembly replaced.

Ford is recalling the 2023 F-250, F-350 and F-450, as well as the super duty editions of the same trucks as a result of visual system issues.
Under certain conditions, a software problem could cause the wrong rear-view camera image to display when backing up. As a result, the hitch or trailer view image might display instead of the default rear-view image. Canadian regulations require the rear-view image to display when reversing.
This recall only affects trucks equipped with the Pro Trailer Hitch Assist feature.
“A rear-view camera image that doesn't display properly could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash,” Transport Canada explained.
“Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the advanced drive assistance system module software.”

Honda has recalled the 2023 Pilot because of a faulty steering gearbox.
On some vehicles, the steering gearbox may not have been built properly. As a result, the steering rack could lock up while driving.
“A sudden loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash,” warned Transport Canada. “Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the steering gearbox.”

Toyota is recalling the 2013-2018 RAV4 because of an electrical problem.
On some vehicles, the battery hold-down assembly may not properly secure certain 12V aftermarket batteries.
“As a result, the battery could shift positions and cause the positive battery post to contact the hold-down bracket. If this happens, there could be a short circuit,” said Transport Canada. “A short circuit could create the risk of a fire.”
Toyota will let owners know by mail to take their vehicle in and have the battery clamp sub-assembly, battery tray and positive terminal cover replaced.

Nissan has recalled the 2020 Sentra because of a transmission issue.
On some vehicles with a manual transmission, the gear selector cable could come loose. If this happens, the driver may not be able to shift into gear or may accidentally shift into the wrong gear. This could cause sudden and unexpected vehicle movements.
“Sudden and unexpected movement of the vehicle could increase the risk of a crash,” Transport Canada said. “Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the transmission control assembly.”
