Bringing his vast musical catalogue to small-town theatres in Canada for the first time in his celebrated 15-year career, Canadian entertainer and award-winning artist Dean Brody's Right Round Here Tour will arrive in Muskoka Nov. 11.
Brody takes fans on a chronological journey through his music with an intimate, full-band performance and the storytelling his songwriting has been acclaimed for.
Brody recently released his eighth full-length studio album, “Right Round Here,” led by his new single by the same name. The nine-track album is an indisputable homage to Canada, brought to life by Brody’s unbridled passion for the country he calls home.
Written by close friends Jenna and Stuart Walker (The Reklaws) as well as Callum Maudsley, Brody’s “Right Round Here” mirrors his very personal journey of love and life over the past few decades, the track embraces the double meaning of being raised “right” around here as Canadians, something Brody has always been incredibly passionate about.
“I’m so proud of my small-town roots and in the last few years, I’ve really come to appreciate how special it was growing up in such a tight-knit community, where a strong work ethic was instilled as a part of growing up. I recognize how lucky I was to be raised with these values and know I wouldn’t be where I am today without them,” said Brody. “This song is about exactly that, and it speaks directly to who I am as a person, a friend, and a proud Canadian.”
Having lived in multiple provinces across the country and boasting a discography that already includes numerous tracks inspired by Canada, it’s clear Brody holds a deep-rooted passion for the Great White North.
Brody had four impressive nominations in the 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards, including a coveted Entertainer of the Year nod as well as Fans’ Choice Award, Male Artist of the Year and Single of the Year. This comes in addition to a performance on the annual show and being the recipient of the 2023 Gary Slaight Music Humanitarian Award for his work with The Dean Brody Foundation.
Brody will be performing at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. To buy tickets online, visit Deerhurst Resort.
